April 2021 marked a significant milestone for model railway enthusiasts with the launch of the Hornby HM | DC app. Celebrating Hornby’s 100th anniversary, Bryter Digital collaborated with Hornby to create a cutting-edge app, available on both iOS and Android, that integrates with the new HM6000 and HM6010 controllers via Bluetooth Mesh technology.

The HM | DC app allows users to control up to 8 separate circuits, operate locomotives, points, and accessories, and even includes realistic locomotive sounds. It’s user-friendly “Track Builder” feature lets enthusiasts plan and operate layouts directly from their mobile devices.
